Brief Complete the picture and audio post-production of the second instalment of the doc series in which retired army colonel Dick Strawbridge and his partner Angel Adoree renovate their French chateau.

How it was done The overall look instructed by the client was to balance the cameras while making the show look vibrant.

One of the challenges for colourist Matthew Eversfi eld was matching the intercutting cameras, which included footage shot with a Sony Z1 in SD, Sony EX3 Canon C300 in S-log and drone footage.

Once the grade was complete, Rapid put the sequence through Nucoda Film Master, applying the clarity DVO plug-in as a noise-reduction tool.

It then upconverted the SD source material using the upscale DVO plug-in. Doris Sajko was online editor while Malcolm Thorp looked after the audio.
