Envy has installed CandIT Media’s Warp storage solution.

Workflow and delivery systems provider CandIT said the implementation of its file system and cluster architecture had resulted in “a huge reduction in the complexity of Envy’s workflow and streamlined its productivity and delivery times”.

The middleware has been connected to Linux and Mac OSX clients over 10 Gigabit lossless Ethernet, which CandIT said allowed for the editing of uncompressed 2K and HD footage in real time without having to transfer data between local storage.
