Action sports channel strikes broadcast deals around the world
EDGEsport, the 24/7 action sports TV channel owned and operated by IMG, has secured a number of new broadcast and distribution agreements.
New deals include Xumo and Stirr in the US, Samsung TV+ in the US and the UK, Youku in China and the launch of the EDGEsport on the Sky Germany platform with Sportdigital in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The channel is now available in over 50 countries.
EDGEsport features content including Street League Skateboarding, Crankworx, FISE World Tour, Vans Park Series, FIA and FIM sanctioned motorsports events including FIM CEV Repsol, Red Bull Rookies Cup, Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup, Enduro GP and the Rallye du Maroc, as well as emerging sports including parkour events, drone racing and eSports.
EDGEsport continues to also be shown in Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Greece, India, Indonesia, Macau, the Middle East, Myanmar, Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, Slovakia, Turkey and Vietnam.
