Host broadcast feeds provided by Beijing Olympic Broadcasting (BOB) at the Games will be produced using Panasonic DVCPro P2 HD solid-state cameras and recorders.

Panasonic is providing 250 recorders, 100 camcorders and 1,500 monitors for the Games, the first to be captured and broadcast entirely in HD.

Cameras to be used include the AJ-HPX2100 and 3000 series.

All international video delivered to rights-holding broadcasters will be distributed in 1080/50i HD.

Panasonic DVCPro HD is the official recording format for the Beijing Olympics.
