Dock 10 will continue to operate post-production services inside The Landing at Media City in Salford after being awarded a new contract by Salford City Council.
Broadcast understands that a two-year deal has been awarded worth between £500,000 and £1m.
The contract was put out to tender in November having previously been re-tendered, and subsequently awarded to Dock 10, in 2013.
It is not yet clear how many other parties pitched for the work but Broadcast understands that there were a number of expressions of interest.
The 3,800 sq ft post facility on floor 2 of The Landing consists of 11 Avid Media Composer suites connected to Avid Isis storage and an ingest area.
The facility is used by local producers and freelancers and is open all year round.
The Landing is a “digital enterprise hub” backed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills (BIS) and Salford City Council.
Other facilities include office space, meeting and events rooms and a viewing lounge.
