Disney Channel and mobile network Orange have signed a deal allowing customers with 3G handsets to watch Disney shows such as Kim Possible,for the first time in the UK.
Disney Channel and mobile network Orange have signed a deal allowing customers with 3G handsets to watch Disney shows such as Kim Possible,for the first time in the UK.

Customers will be able to view a selection of full live action episodes or animated hits, in addition to shorts from other programmes and Disney Channel original movies.

The new deal will begin with episodes of Recess, That's So Ravenand Kim Possible. Others shows to be added include The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Hannah Montanaand Jake Long: American Dragon.

The UK service is part of a larger pan-European deal with Orange to provide content to mobile phones. Viewing will also be available to customers in Belgium, Slovakia, Switzerland, Portugal, Poland, Holland, Romania and eventually France.

Executive vice president and managing director of Disney Channels EMEA John Hardie, said this is the method people increasingly want to see their television 'and we are committed to providing the consumer with the products they want at a time of their choosing'.
