Discovery Networks Europe has installed Rascular’s PC-based control and monitoring technology Helm at its Chiswick Park playout facility.

The software is being used to control systems from a range of manufacturers, including Miranda’s Imagestore, from a user-defined monitoring surface.

Discovery director of project engineering Stuart Parkinson said: “Helm replicates our previous functionality but also provides a new way of working with the expanded possibilities it creates.

“We have now deployed it across 69 channels.”
