Film-scanning equipment firm DFT has launched a wet-gate option for its latest Scanity HDR film scanner.
The fluid tank technology has been designed to meet the needs of archive owners who need a scanner that can handle problematic and historically aged film. DFT sales director Simon Carter said: “The Scanity HDR Wet-gate enables them to maintain the quality and originality of film material, while saving time and downstream processing, because the majority of issues are addressed at the scanning stage.”
