Sound production company De Lane Lea has completed refurbishment of its main TV dubbing suite, Studio 5.
It has been upgraded to 5.1 capabilities with an AMS desk that now includes joysticks and MCS card control. The new studio also houses a Sanyo 2200 lumens widescreen projector and a new acoustic treatment to the walls.
Studio 5 has several new jobs booked in, including Murder Squad, a six-part drama series for Channel 4, and Gunpowder, Treason and Plot, a four-part BBC2 drama about Mary Queen of Scots written by Jimmy McGovern.
De Lane Lea has also been working on Jonathan Glazer's next project Birth, starring Nicole Kidman, and Mike Newell's new feature Mona Lisa Smile.
Other recent TV credits for the Dean Street facility include Monarch of The Glenfor Ecosse Films (BBC1), Carlton's The Vice(ITV1) and Red Capfor Stormy Pictures (BBC1).
