Audio post house De Lane Lea is moving into picture post-production with the launch of a new department.
‘Sound and Vision’ will provide a one-stop-shop for TV and low budget film.
It will be headed up by Michael Hamilton with mixer Adrian Rhodes as head of sound and founder of Dragon DI Tony Ray as head of picture.
De Lane Lea is due to re-open this month following a major re-fit prompted, in part, by last year’s Soho fire (pictured).
Hamilton said: “The new department will allow us to build on De Lane Lea’s long and renowned history in television post-production at the same time as moving into new and exciting areas. We’ve put together the best team who will be working in our first class facilities placing us in a great position for the future.”
Rhodes credits include The Gruffalo, all of the Wallace and Gromit productions and BBC3’s Cast Offs.
Ray has worked on 40 films in the last five years including Valhalla and recent Wesley Snipes action film Gallowwalker.
