CVP chief executive Phil Baxter has died suddenly aged 46.

Baxter founded the reseller and broadcast product supplier in 1986 and was its owner, alongside his wife Alison. He is also survived by their two daughters, Hannah and Chloe.

He had led the company through considerable growth, and it now employs 90 staff across six locations and generates a turnover of £55m.

The company said it was trading as normal, “as Phil would have wished”, and that its staff are “committed to the continuation of his vision”.
