Brief Provide all audio post-production work on the three series and create a punchy mix in keeping with the ‘epic’ look of Cucumber and Banana.

How it was done Dock 10 head of audio Mark Briscoe mixed all episodes of Cucumber and Banana. In Cucumber, some scenes are played through lead character Henry’s mind and it was Briscoe’s goal to make these as surreal and dynamic as possible. Between the two series, there are underlying connections with the locations, so particular care was given to creating sound spheres for each location and ensuring continuity. Briscoe worked in conjunction with Mark Ryder on sound design and supervising sound editor Stuart McCowan. The dub was completed using Pro Tools Version 10. Waves Gold Bundle plug-ins and metering and FX packages from iZotope and Nugen were used.

Watch it Cucumber airs on Thursdays at 9pm on Channel 4; Banana is on Thursdays at 10pm, E4; Tofu is on Thursdays at 10.30pm, 4oD
