In the agreement, Filmscape will recommend that its clients use Crow's Red workflow, which it has developed over the past six weeks, while Crow will give Filmscape clients a discount on its post.
Filmscape kit manager Anthony Holt said new cameras from Red will persuade more TV productions to adopt the technology.
“With the release of Red's high-end Epic camera next year, which will shoot at 625 frames per second, rates for the Red camera will drop considerably,” he said. “It can suit drama if backed up to tape, and sport because it is manoeuvrable like a TV camera.”
Crow TV managing director Will O'Connor said: “Filmscape has a great client list and we look forward to developing the relationship.”
