Post House: Clear Cut Pictures
Client: BBC
How it was done: After being cut in-house at the BBC, Clear Cut Pictures took the media managed sequence and transferred it tapelessly, via an ARC150 for film effect, into its F-Stop grading suite.
From there senior colourist Simon Astbury graded six VT inserts in consultation with the director. The speed of the F-Stop allowed him to complete the VT inserts, each with their own distinct look, easily within the allotted day.
In one VT about Tom Hunter's photographic recreation of "Diana and Actaeon" Astbury drew his inspiration from the rich earthy tones and vibrant primary colours of the Titian original.
Watch it: 17 February on the BBC
