Brief: To create a campaign that reinforces the channel as a provider of high-quality wildlife programming. Medialuna was tasked with creating a graphics package that works with the Get Closer tagline and complements, not competes with the imagery featured in Nat Geo Wild's programming.
How it was done: Inspired by wildlife film-makers' stories, the 15 HD spots include treacherous mountain falls and people wading through leech-infested waters.
Available both on-air and online, they capture candid shares accounts of dangerous encounters, disgusting moments and tedious undertakings endured to secure the perfect shot.
Inspired by five different natural habitats, Medialuna created a graphics package that features bold colours, mixes 2D and 3D techniques in real environments, and employs the subtle use of hyperrealism to give the channel a stronger, vibrant look.
Shadow casting, depth of field, turbulence distrortions and lens flares was used to make the date, time and show information seem a part of the environments
