How it was done: designer Orla Handley constructed British Style Genius as a fashion label incorporating an abstracted Union Jack. Using stop-frame animation and Maya, CGI animator Paul Greer combined the animation of a bespoke satin label with threads produced in CGI. The thread theme was then used by the BDH design team as a branding tool.
