Post facility Clear has completed visual effects work on Red Productions' forthcoming drama The Second Coming. Nearly 60 shots were worked on by post-producer Stephen Garrad and his team, including several "miracle" shots. Josh George used Softimage XSI to produce 3D wood and fire in a pub, while another scene set in a football stadium required the creation of a pathway of light during night-time. The two-part series is directed by Adrian Shergold and produced by Ann Harrison-Baxter. The visual effects consultant is Peter Bach. The Second Coming airs next month on ITV1.
