Clear has directed and post-produced new titles for Talkback Thames' long-running ITV1 series The Bill. Director Ben Heap and post-producers Tony Bradley and Hiba Hadid wanted to bring out the programme's grittier new edge, so Heap drew on references that included the titles for the 1980s series Miami Vice. Seven hours of rushes were shot on HDCam and edited on Avid by Blue's Alex Marsh, who kept iconic shots including the famous 'walking feet'. The Bill, complete with new titles, continues on ITV1 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8pm.
