Clear has completed the post for the BBC's newly launched HD trial ident, created by Red Bee Media. The ident opens on the channel's new 'diamond' logo, which the camera shoots through to reveal visuals including explosions and ice textures.
Clear has completed the post for the BBC's newly launched HD trial ident, created by Red Bee Media. The ident opens on the channel's new 'diamond' logo, which the camera shoots through to reveal visuals including explosions and ice textures.

Clear created additional elements such as wisps of smoke using Flame. Clear's 3D department, headed by Joss George, also created the rotating cube rendered in different passes to show reflections and transparency levels. Clear's senior Flame artist, Rob Walker, pieced all the elements together. The idents are currently airing on the BBC's trial service.
