Broadcast solutions provider Gearhouse Broadcast has invested in 30 BVP-E30WSPH Sony cameras at £30,000 each.

The demand comes from studios and OB companies. Eamonn Dowdall, managing director of Gearhouse Broadcast, said: “There is still a lot of content being shot in SD and this will be the case for the next few years.”

The BVP-E30WSPH model is the 16:9/4:3 switchable aspect ratio version of the new BVP-E30 camera family. It combines high picture quality and control with lower cost.
