BVE 2015: Arrow Media co-creative director Tom Brisley and Keo Films managing director Debbie Manners are among the speakers at this year’s BVE.
They will lead a panel on how to stand out against super-indies.
The Producers’ Theatre will also feature a panel including Vasha Wallace, senior vice president of global acquisitions and development at Fremantle Media and World Media Rights chief executive Alan Griffiths who will look at the most valuable formats in the UK and how to translate them for international audiences.
A session titled The Challenges and Solutions of Extreme Shooting will include director of photography Dan Etheridge who has worked on The Island with Bear Grylls and Wild Weekends with Stephen Fry, and Phil Coates, director and cameraman of shows including Everest: Beyond The Limit and Blizzard: Race to The Pole.
The Suspicions of Mr Whicher and Doctor Who DoP Tim Palmer will discuss how to overcome scheduling restrictions on high-end productions, while delegates will also have the opportunity to pitch ideas for a film to a panel moderated by Elliott Grove, the founder of the Raindance Film Festival and the British Independent Film Awards.
The BVE seminar programme includes over 120 hours of presentations, covering the latest production issues and technological trends as well as the connected world and multi-platform content.
BVE 2015 will take place from 24 to 26 February at ExCeL in London.
