Londons’s Bruce Dunlop & Associates (BDA) has won a contract to re-brand Channel Al Libya, a channel run by one of the sons of the Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi.

The newly named Mediterranean Channel will be a general entertainment channel broadcasting to five countries in North Africa along the Mediterranean: Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Egypt and Tunisia.

BDA is currently in the process of designing the on-air branding and promo packaging and will be shooting the idents in Libya for five days.

The re-branded channel will launch with the new BDA branding after Ramadan on the 20th of September 2009.
