Bosses of Arte, Warner Bros. Discovery and France Télévisions set to appear

The line-up of speakers for the Lille Dialogues summit at the Series Mania Forum has been unveiled, with leaders from international media companies including Warner Bros. Discovery, France Télévisions and Arte making appearances.  

Set to take place on March 27, the day-long international summit will feature panel discussions and keynotes delivered by top industry executives. The themes for this year include Post Peak TV: Challenging Times Ahead, covering AI, funding and audience changes.

The day’s programme will include keynotes from president of international at Warner Bros. Discovery Gerhard Zeiler and ITV Studios’ president global partnerships and Zoo 55 Ruth Berry. 

Arte chief executive Bruno Patino, France Télévisions chief executive Delphine Ernotte Cunci, chairman of the management board at M6 Group David Larramendy and chief executive of TF1 Group Rodolphe Belmer will also each deliver a keynote.  

Panel discussions will cover topics including the AI revolution, deepfakes and algorithms, with speakers including chief executive of Wild Sheep Content Erik Barmack, head of emerging technologies at TF1 Marianne Carpentier and Google’s head of gen AI for media and entertainment Johann Choron.  

Founder and general director of Series Mania Laurence Herszberg said: “After a period of euphoria, the audiovisual industry is now facing three major challenges from our perspective. 

“First, a funding crisis marked by an intense battle to capture advertising budgets. Second, a sociological challenge, linked to this advertising crisis, given today’s younger generations shift to social platforms, and finally, an industrial revolution, driven by the undeniable impact of artificial intelligence.“
