Distributors invited to submit titles for bespoke supplement for 2022 in-person event
Broadcast is calling for submissions to a special Hot Picks supplement to coincide with The London TV Screenings in March.
The supplement will extend Broadcast International’s longstanding Hot Picks brand to showcase the newest and best programming emerging from the leading distributors during the in-person event. It will be the first time that The London TV Screenings – which was inaugurated last year by ITV Studios, All3Media International, eOne, Banijay Rights and Fremantle – will be a physical event.
Distributors participating in The London TV Screenings are invited to submit titles from across the genre spectrum, covering UK scripted, international scripted, factual and formats.
Submissions must be for programming that is being promoted at the Screenings and the deadline for sending over titles is Friday 7 January.
Broadcast International will also host an in-person event during the Screenings under its Distributors Showcase Live banner, which recently hosted the Broadcast Distributors Survey 2021.
According to the survey, the UK’s distributors generated £1.7bn of sales revenues in a testing year in which smaller, bespoke distributors experienced growth, highlighting the resilience and adaptability of the sector.
This year, Broadcast International returned to Mipcom with 25 premium Hot Picks from global distributors including BBC Studios, ITV Studios, Vice, Cineflix Studios and territories such as Canada, the US, France, Israel, the UK, Germany, South Africa and New Zealand.
Please send your submissions to international@broadcastnow.co.uk and/or john.elmes@broadcastnow.co.uk.
