Brief Provide audio and picture post-production for the third outing of the six-part series about an Army bomb disposal unit in Afghanistan.
How it was done Shot on the Arri Alexa in remote parts of South Africa, rushes were transcoded on set and sent back to Mark Lawrence in the offline edit for assembly. Alex Leask graded the series using Baselight and onlined using Symphony, adding in VFX from Dneg.
Dubbing mixer Ben Hood and assistant Alex Paul mixed in a fully filled Foley track recorded by Paul Guiver for the intricate fight scenes. Guiver said that the Foley presented a particular challenge due to the special material used to make the army outfits. Platform recorded additional FX to maintain the authenticity of the show.
