How does it work? Using TCP/IP, it can provide HD quality video via a 4G network. Where mobile coverage is poor, audio is maintained but frames are dropped to allow continued audience interactivity.

What are the suggested uses? Live news reports, user-generated content, citizen journalism and the emergency services.

Any early adopters? It is currently being used by production company Dai4films for Milly’s World, a showcase for new British music artists that is being made available on Facebook and MySpace.
