Bakhurst keeps job

Kevin Bakhurst, the caretaker editor of BBC1's 10 O'Clock News , has been handed the job on a permanent basis. He stepped in to the role six months ago after his predecessor, Mark Popescu, took control of BBC News 24 ahead of its relaunch.
