Outside broadcast firm Arena Television has been awarded three new contracts by ITV Sport.

The deals are to cover ITV’s main live football matches including the FA Cup, the Europa League, the Community Shield and the FA Youth Cup.

ITV Sport head of production Tony Pastor said: “Arena has done an outstanding job on the Champions League for ITV Sport and I’m delighted we will be widening our partnership to cover all our live football output.”

Arena also covers the UEFA Champions League and England internationals for ITV Sport.

Arena owner and managing director Richard Yeowart said: “We are particularly pleased to have secured these prestigious contracts from ITV Sport. It is a reflection of the hard work and dedication put in by all our staff in ensuring we only delivery the very best quality of service.”

The recently-commissioned OB11 will join Arena’s 20-strong fleet of OB units in the early autumn.
