Brief Picture and audio post-production on series eight of the show about life on the island of Sark.

How it was done Footage was shot on location and combined with archive of the island.

The Baselight grade was completed by Alex Gascoigne, who used contrast and saturation to bring out the beauty of the island, emphasising the colour palette while maintaining a realistic and natural feel throughout.

The aim was to build on the programme’s insight into a lifestyle that is influenced by the environmental and geological surroundings.

Production manager Charlie Bennet said the overall look helped with one of the most important aspects of the series: capturing the beauty and atmosphere of the islands.

The online edit was completed by Andrew Penfold with Avid Symphony.
