Prime Focus has attracted the visual effects team of Sean Feeney and Hani AlYousif to join the company from Absolute Post.

Feeney (pictured) takes up the role of executive producer while Al Yousif will work as a senior flame artist.

Explaining his reasons for the move, Feeney said: “One big advantage Prime Focus offers is the global digital pipeline across North America, the UK and India, and the savings that this brings to end clients.

“An integrated global approach allows us to offer much greater creative and financial value to agencies and clients across multiple territories, while maintaining a solid business model for Prime Focus for the foreseeable future.”

Feeney has experience of commercials, long form production, character development and character animation.

His previous employers include Golden Square, Jim Henson’s Creature Shop and MPC.

Whilst at Absolute he set up BlindPig, an in-house design and animation group.

Al Yousif has previously worked at Smoke & Mirrors, Framestore and The Mill. He has twice won BTAA awards.
