Brief Provide picture and audio post-production for the celebration of BBC2 comedy, which takes in a host of shows and performers, including The Goodies, Vic And Bob, The Fast Show and Catherine Tate.

How it was done The two-hour show features an array of comedy that has aired on BBC2 over the past five decades, so Platform had to handle high volumes of footage in a wide range of formats.

The show was also punctuated by contributors who were shot in front of a green screen. The online and grade was carried out in Symphony.

Platform’s Ben Hood, who mixed the audio using Pro Tools 11 HDX, cleaned up and restored the archive footage using Izotope, Cedar and Waves plug-ins. Pro Tools 11 provided the audio department with better integration with the video timeline, which allowed for faster creation of the final deliverables.
