Bristol-based 422 South has won a contract to provide CGI animation for US production Earth: The Operators’ Manual.

The programme, the first of a potential trilogy of films for US public television, aims to demystify the science of climate change and will TX on PBS next month.

The VFX and CGI facility used landscaping software tool Terragen, together with Autodesk’s Maya, to create timelapse sequences showing the advance and retreat of a glacier.
