Twickenham Film Studios has gone into administration.
The facility is unlikely to remain a studio, according to administrator Gerald Krasner of Begbies Traynor, who told the BBC the business had lost money for the past three years.
He said: “We are selling it on…everyone will then be paid in full.”
According to the report, half of the facility’s 17 employees have already left with the remainder working their notice.
The studio, which opened in 1913, was due to celebrate its centenary next year.
Recent productions shot at Twickenham include So TV’s Sorry I’ve Got No Head for CBBC and Big Talk Production’s Him & Her for BBC3.
