NAB 2011: Apple has unveiled the latest version of its editing software, Final Cut Pro X.
The announcement was made at the Final Cut Pro User Group ‘Supermeet’ in Las Vegas yesterday evening, where Apple said the 64-bit application would offer people and shot detection and automatic audio clean up.
As well as an overhaul of the user interface, which has drawn comparisons with Apple’s consumer editing platofrm iMovie, the latest iteration of FCP will allow users to add keywords to specific parts of clips.
The software will be available in June for $299 (£183).
