IBC 2012: Panasonic has released details of a new camcorder ahead of the IBC trade show in two weeks’ time.
Panasonic’s AG-AC90 joins its AVCCAM range of “affordable HD” devices.
It is equipped with three 1/4.7-type CMOS sensors and is the first camera to feature Panasonic’s AVCCAM HD PS recording mode at 28Mbps 60p.

Audio options include two-channel XLR inputs with individual level controls and input selection.
The camera has an HDMI output, a USB connector and a 3.5-inch touch-panel LCD monitor.
It will be priced at just over £1,400 and will be available from October.
