The Bottle Yard is gearing up to host C4 game show Deal Or No Deal, with BBC Studios and Production helping to kit out the Bristol facility with its most extensive TV production set-up to date.

The Noel Edmonds-fronted show has relocated from its Paintworks base in Bristol while the site is redeveloped.

From October until mid-2014, the studio and technical facilities as well as audience-holding, dressing rooms and production offices will be housed in a 3,000sq m unit at The Bottle Yard.

BBC S&PP is designing and building the production facilities and providing technical services and crew, while on-site post production will continue to be handled by The Farm using its own editing and finishing systems.

Site manager for The Bottle Yard Fiona Francombe said securing the series was a boost for the facility.

She said: “We’re lucky to have so much fl exible space. Even with two dramas, a third imminent and a potential recommission for Trollied, we have room for more.”
