BBC Studios and Post Production is moving its Digital Media Services (DMS) division to a permanent facility in West London from early 2013.
The fit-out of the new Odyssey Business Park site in South Ruislip will begin in the next two weeks, with the technical installation due to be completed by February 2013.
Around 35 DMS staff will move between February and March, at which point the commercial subsidiary of the BBC will move out of Television Centre while it is redeveloped.
The studios division of BBC S&PP will be temporarily based at Elstree Studios.
Head of digital media services at BBC S&PP Clive Hodge said: “With the accommodation and technical infrastructure designed for optimum handling of current and legacy film and tape formats, and connectivity to link to customers, distributors and other BBC S&PP locations, this base will allow us to grow our range of media storage and content handling services.”
