Comedian Morgana Robinson is to return to Channel 4 with a new sketch show as part of a raft of orders secured by Running Bare Pictures.
The broadcaster has commissioned the John Noel-owned indie to make Friday night impressions show Very Important People, which will launch in spring 2012.
The 6 x 30-minute series will feature Robinson and Terry Mynott mimicking stars including TV presenters Christine Bleakley and Adrian Chiles and comedian Russell Brand in topical sketches.
Running Bare creative director Phil Edgar Jones said some scenes would be filmed close to TX to ensure the show reflects the biggest issues in the celebrity world.
It is Robinson’s second project for Channel 4 following The Morgana Show last year, which averaged a below-par 705,000 (3.76%) viewers in a 10.35pm Tuesday slot.
Very Important People will be exec produced by Edgar Jones, with Jack Bayles as producer and James De Frond as director.

Running Bare will also produce non-TX comedy drama pilot The Mimic for C4.

Running Bare has also been commissioned to make Dirty Digest for E4. The 8 x 30-minute comedy panel show was ordered by C4 entertainment commissioner Madeleine Knight.
