Costume designer Annie Hardinge, make-up artist Lisa Cavalli-Green and composer David Arnold all picked up gongs for their work on the show, which was recently named best comedy programme at the National Television Awards. Little Britain 's awards treasure chest now includes the National Television award, five RTS Craft & Design Awards, two RTS awards, a British Comedy Award, and a host of other nominations.
Little Britain , which began its life as a radio show and transfers from BBC3 to BBC1 this week, will also go head to head with The Office at this year's British Comedy Awards in the race to be named best comedy.
For Hardinge and Cavalli-Green the awards were the second part of an unlikely double. They have won the RTS make-up and costume awards in both of the last two years, each time for Little Britain. Cavalli-Green also won a Bafta Craft Award in May for the show.
It was also a successful night for John Downer productions which picked up two prizes and for the BBC as 13 programmes made for the corporation were rewarded for their craft excellence.
The RTS Craft and Design awards took place at the Savoy Hotel in London last night (November 30 2004). For a full list of winners see below
